I wondered about a similar thing, but bought some shares during a wild buying frenzy immediately upon a positive ASX ann this week ... order was 1000 shares, buy figures ended up at 988 shares at the bottom price, then 8, then 7 at the next higher prices up as all shares in the first and then 2nd price range went out the door. Still, the if it continues to happen at close, and consistently LOWERS the price, then who knows..?
