Sept 27 (Reuters) - Australian Pharmaceutical Industries (API) said on Monday it received a non-binding proposal from Sigma Healthcare (SIG) , valuing the pharmaceutical company at A$773.5 million ($561.41 million).
Under the cash-and-stock deal, API shareholders would receive A$1.57 per share, slightly above the proposed bid of A$1.55 apiece by retail conglomerate Wesfarmers (WES) .
