My opinion, things have changed a lot since the 1970's when i were a lad ... looking after an existing customer base has not been fashionable for quite a while.
Had any tempting offers from your current bank, power or phone utility to stay a customer? No.
Been bombarded with teasers from other outfits to shift your business to them? Yes.
Live in a safe seat and getting a lot of love from your MP? No.
Live in a marginal electorate and get a same-day reply? Yes.
Reality is that your (and my) funds are already in SLX and by definition we are both 'loyal' to some degree and there is a small but measurable cost involved in divesting.
Get used to being taken for granted my friend is my advice ... not too hard to swallow in the case of SLX for me at least ... showing ~380% paper profit on my small stake.Your mileage may differ of course.
