Yeah, pretty simple maths....
Increase AVZ’s interest in the Manono Project from 60% to 75% by exercising the option to purchase Dathomir’s minority shareholding of 15% equity in Dathcom Mining for US$20 million (~AUD$27).
So bought 15 % for US$20 million, or US$1.33 million per 1% of Dathcom in July and sold in September 24% of Dathcom for US$240 million, or US$10 million per 1% of Dathcom ( an increase of 7.5 times in 2 months), to be able to maneuver itself in a position to finance the project.
At 75% ownership a production capacity of a 4.5 Mtpa throughput producing approximately 0.7 million tonnes of SC6, or 3.375 Mtpa (AVZ's share) plant throughput. That was the plan.
At 51% ownership a production capacity of a 10Mtpa throughput producing approximately 1.6 million tonnes of SC6, or 5.1 Mtpa (AVZ's share) plant throughput.
That looks to me an increased production for AVZ of very slightly over 50%.
Not to be sneezed at and there is more..... the 15% which AVZ could buy from the DRC.![]()
