By "time to onset" do you mean the time to reach peak serum concentration? I don't see why that would matter, irrespective of whether it was administered daily or weekly.
The rate of sustained release of the weekly formulation is a different issue, which does matter.
Presumably Prof Sinclair has been involved in this decision.
