I must say I was very disappointed about how the management answered the price query. To say that this announcement wasn’t material enough to warrant the volume and price action on Friday is not true.

Reverse engineer this. You are wanting the company to say that the run that occurred on Friday afternoon off the back of no announcement was fully justified & they should have had the stock in a TH prior to the run.

Sorry, you've had it explained why you've misread the announcement. You got the strike length info wrong. Also, the market won't judge the results announcement based on what the company says in the 'answer to the ASX', it'll base it on what they think the results announcement adds to the overall picture. The market has spoken. You think this announcement was a 'company maker'. I don't think it was and neither does the market. I think it's the overall picture that one must consider, not a one-off announcement.

To me it sounds like you wanted the company to 'pump' the stock today by saying something that just isn't justified.
