    FoC,

There are many stocks exactly like TSV. Are you telling me they are unique? I follow many threads, and have done so for years, and the one thing that stands out is that in every one of them, there are longer-term shareholders who swear that their company is unique, is different, is the one to make them riches. Take out the emotion and you'll see that TSV is no different to many other companies.

I like what I have read and heard on TSV. I like the fact that they are in partnership with a major, I like that it is tightly held, I like that their location is close to infrastructure already. I like the market they are in, having followed stocks like AOE and MPO previously. This is why I'm invested.

I usually steer away from companies trying new technology that have not been thoroughly proven or been successful. This is the downside for me. I know there has been some success in the US, but there has been little success thus far in Australia. From what I've learnt there is a high likelihood this particular well will be successful. But the general populous shies away from these types of companies purely because of the new technology risk. I have seen and/or been invested in the past in companies claiming to have new methods for extracting value from places that previously were considered impossible. Most, if not all, have been unsuccessful so it is understandable that the wider community still appears unconvinced.

The up side of all this, is if successful, they will appear in their droves and the share price will be driven much higher. But, as with any speculative, I never count my chickens, I never count my millions ahead of time, to me it, just like every other speculative, remains so until the time that it is actually pulling resources out of the ground and making money out of it.

Whether you believe in conspiracy theories or not, I stand by my claim that a successful company will eventually one way or another realise its true value. Always does. So no need to fret over short-term gyrations or lack-of if one firmly believes in what they have invested in.
