Exactly - china is mass producing for the developing world as it has done for everything else ... lenovo is a good story to compare

Initially Lenovo was cheap and was mass produced so in terms of sheer numbers it out performed everybody else

With time Lenovo improved its product and quality .. now days it produces a decent personal computer etc

That might happen with some of the Chinese EV makers but that's 10 20 years down the track ...

So much will happen by then ...

Plus we are likely to have first mover advantage .... sometimes thats a huge lead that cant be caught ....
