But consolidation digs a deeper hole under the market cap for the shares to drop into. 1,000,000,000 shares at 1c is less likely to drop as much as 100,000,000 shares at 10c (5c doesn't sound as bad as 0.5c). It is the fundamentals that matter in my opinion
