Agree completely. Global integrates going up lowers DCF valuation of all stocks. This is where balance approach of MFG will shine. The so called underperformance of MFG total funds compared to other indexes bantered around by big investment bankers need to have a look at latest figures. Six months to 28 Sept 21, Including dividends MFG has 11% return compared to ASX 200 6%, All ord 9%, s&P 500 9%, MSCI 8%, Dow 4%. I ask the question Jarden and other investment bankers are saying,if the underperformance continue funds will be withdrawn. I say compare latest information without harping on some old garbage 12 months back we all know about. On top of it MFG has about $6B cash to be used for this kind of situation. I am sure when the time is right Hamish will deploy it. Until then hold tight in this difficult times.
