The problem was the FF always suggested it will sell down TLS once it came off escrow. They will stand by this i.e. balancing the portfolio). However, the government actions and FF sell down smells really bad.
The moral action would be for the government to buy it back, remember Kevi was going to be the moral crusader.
Free market dictates that if you want something you pay the market price, not steal it with regulation.
