I am 99% sure that SGL carbon produce Synthetic graphite anodes rather than using natural graphite. SGL received funding not that long ago to expand the technology they use. $42.9Mil Euros.

SGL carbon also produce their own Graphite and graphite/silicon anode. Iggy mentioned in the Collaboration agreement with SGL Carbon, ATC was going to coat SGL materials for battery tests. ATC and SGL have been working together now for 5 months. I am fairly positive ATC original HPA tests (100 cycles) was achieved in ~1 month.
