There is a lot going on at the moment. Evergrande and likely more Chinese property developers are deeply in debt to default.
The likely fallout is that China's growth will diminish quickly causing a slowdown for iron ore and other raw materials, bad for Australia. US and other Funds holding Chinese bonds are exciting from those funds as I write, the Nasdaq fell 2.8% last night. There is a lot to take in...
Why NST got smashed in the last week and rebounded a bit today I do not know, there is no rational explanation, I myself would not be investing in anything mentioned in the above paragrapgh. I can't work out who is buying and selling NST, it seems like very irrational anxious traders who are determined to lose money IMO.
