Maybe the first hole (BKDD00A) was targeting the presumed heavy iron oxides (IOGC) and the second hole following up for Cu mineralisation to the side if the first was successful.
Also here's a NTGS slide illustrating a model which I think is typical of a Tennant Creek Au-Cu-Bi deposit - they are "variants within the diverse IOCG deposit family". It's pipe-like and has the Cu lode offset but close to the centre of the core.
