Mike Davies & intel have been champions in pushing neuromorphics in to the mainstream. BRN have spent years in stealth mode waiting for patents and to protect their trade secrets. On the other hand, possibly as Loihi is a research project, Mike has freely discussed its architecture, functionality and performance and this video is no different.
So Loihi 2.....
is still a research chip
has no roadmap to commercialization
have other versions going through fab as they tinker with the design
software a major stumbling block
Still a lot of catching up to do for intel it would seem
