The other day someone posted a Samsung press release about their heroic mission to print the human brain synapse and create a 3D artificially intelligent brain as a futuristic project which clearly this video is linked to and is not Brainchip.
What intrigued me was the end of the video where it speaks about neuromorphic chips being used at the edge which is not the heroic mission. It of course goes on to ask the audience what it thinks about the possibility of neuromorphic edge computing taking over. This is puzzling unless you see it as an advertising marketing ploy to get people talking and then announce you are going to do it.
Samsung does have as you know its own neuromorphic research program so I need a fair bit more before I tip my hat to this one as being a link to Brainchip and AKIDA however this form of advertising is great for a company like Brainchip about to release the AKD1000 that can do what Samsung is talking about at the edge.
