Cadreelil,
I don't know what got into your head, guess you are a hardcore labor supporter.
I don't have any political connections, sorry to inform you on that. The Port Lincoln decision is made by the SA govt, let me know how the local MP can be involved in the process.
I don't know if you are aware or not, but the Rudd govt is having quite some tension with the Chinese at the moment. Only a few weeks ago, newspaper report senior Chinese officials threaten to cut economic ties with Australia due to our govt reception of 'separatist movement leaders'.
I don't understand why it takes so much BS to get govt approval on some investment. As to the reason of the resubmission, it can't be spelling error, WISCO lawyers are professionals, they dont make that sort of mistakes. But i'm sure the govt can find some excuse to have as much time as they want.
Time is money, my friend, the earlier we get the cash from the Chinese, the earlier we start to make money, at least some interests from bank.
I respect Peter Costello coz he's a wise and gentle person, if not for his conservative fiscal policies, we'd be borrowing more to pay for the labor stimulus BS. The govt is borrowing money to stimuate economic growth in order to remain in power.
P.S. I don't support any political party, I might vote for the greens next time.
