I tend to agree, and there is a lot of wheat to be separated from chaff of the myriad claims of novel extraction processes. The R&D is mind boggling in respect of hydrogen production, storage (solid, liquid and gas), combustion, and improving fuel cell efficiency. I am tracking sea water processes as a source of hydrogen well as I see huge potential for shipping, island energy, austere location energy and littoral logistic support to power expeditionary equipment. Fuel logistics can be reduced to the location of operations. Awesome if it comes to pass.

The sale of nanotubes and other carbon raw materials could be a money spinner in addition to hydrogen if their methane container system works as suggested.
