Had a bit more of a read. Apparently they were intending to recruit 1500 patients, but the trial was stopped early due to overwhelming efficacy. This is great news. I hope it is found to be effective as it will reduce pressure on health services.
It is yet another option - vaccines to prevent infection, early stage treatment, treatment once hospitalized, before requiring intubation.
There is still need for treatment of those with severe disease who did not respond to the above.
