It won't be a merger of equals - it will be stolen by a Macquarie advised predator of dubious character. Then Macquarie will raise a bucketload of fresh equity for the acquirer and dilute the shit out of those poor saps.
Quite a logical business model for Macquarie but won't do investors in RRL much good.
I would not touch it with a barge pole!!
