That's a very unnuanced position to take.
Many other companies have faired quite well despite not growing through covid, not becoming profitable.
Maybe the shorters took these positions or targeted the company because of the announcements.
But to deny the fact that on many of the worst plunges this year over half the shares sold were short is obviously a bit disingenuous.
And to ignore the pattern of this happening in the past seems almost deliberate.
At the end of the day, you do you. If you think these announcements are a death knell for the company then don't invest. Stick to your guns.
But if you think they're minor setbacks, if that, like it's long term holders, then now is a pretty good time to buy.
