So we are getting very close to take off day! that's right the granting of the mining licence will make the current rally look like child play. That decision is imminent, and of course although uncertain, i think the stars are aligned in our favour.

It is just a waiting game now for the patient, and i m certainly happy to wait and wait, as the recent buying has indicated the smart money is taking advantage of the current lull in trading.

Anyway onto the main reason i thought i needed to comment. There has been some posts on here suggesting that our chinese investors, CATL and Mr Ping wish to control and scutter or slow supply by trying to control the biggest known resource in the world!

This cannot be further from the truth!

firstly, we still control 51% of the project! but put that aside for now and lets look at the underlying substance.

We actually know from this deal now that CATH is so desperate for supply that they have been working in the background with AVZ. They have pushed for fast track of expanded studies to now evaluate and progress a study to increase annual production, expanding Dense Media Separation (DMS) capacity from 4.5 million tonnes throughput producing about 700,000 tonnes of spodumene concentrate (SC6), as contemplated by the Definitive Feasibility Study dated April 2020 (DFS), to 10 million tonnes DMS throughput producing 1.6 million tonnes of SC6.

That screams of needs and intentions.

Add to that the a recent report from the International ENERGY AGENCY, commended governments start stockpiling battery metals, noting that lithium demand could increase 40-fold over the next 20 years. IEA executive director Fatih Birol said this would become an “energy security” issue.

Everyone is running around trying to secure supply and unfortunately for the Europeans they have been left behind, dragging their feet which is quiet bizarre frankly but not entirely too surprising given their recent history of mismanagement and fragmentation.

Well you have to be razer sharp in this age age of transition, Luckily i m glad we in Australia are on the front foot, and the Chinese whether we like it or not have also been at the forefront of the evolution and thus seem to be natural partners, sweeping aside the issue of empires clashing!

Looking forward to a great month or so.
