I‘ve found this graph from a BHP presentation back in august very helpful in understanding forecast nickel demand. It separates total nickel demand and nickel demand for batteries. Forecasting 21% compound annual growth in battery related nickel demand in next decade. Equating to approximately 700kt nickel just for batteries.
