Just thought its worth mentioning the frame rate is every 2 seconds, so it would be hard to catch the bird as it isn't updating instantly. In addition, for something fast moving you almost definitely need a few more shots. If you look at the raceway demo Brainchip did, they used about 4 or 5 shots for the fast moving vehicle and it did quite well. And I'm not sure if the image you learned from was of the bird in flight, but that would definitely be helpful so it has a similar image / features to compare against. So it's not surprising that it was struggling, but that's a good way to test the limits of the tech.
