Definitely not a car guy. For those not in the know, nearly all tyres are fitted tubeless, so if you let your tyre pressure get too low chances are when you load the tyre sideways it will break the bead seal (tyre to rim). So you would need to minimum, get the weight off the tyre or remove the wheel and centralize the tyre ( remove the valve out of the stem) so you can get max air pressure in to pop it back on the rim. That's what he is more than likely doing. I personally have been in that position in a friends car who had a stuffed spare wheel and no RAA. Got him back on the road in 30 min, with him getting a lecture from me about checking his tyre pressures regularly. It's important for road SAFETEY and no long walks![]()
