I actually think, while evergrande is not in a good position, China will not allow it to collapse and the media play on it is well and truly overblown. China does not want another Lehmann brothers fiasco. It is not in its interest when it's growth is slowing - a predictable scenario after 10 years of massive growth.
I think the ASX will get a pounding today as the DOW was down 330 points overnight. Be interesting to see what impact that has on the IO producers sector. I don't think it will be a green day though.
