this won’t help for the SP or the business, but yes all financial and credit players would likely be in the same boat
money will all rush heavily into commodities and property, leaving growth, tech, crypto, and all other speculative high valued forward looking asset classes (temporarily) in the dust
… that is if real inflation did hit.
the issue we have is not just inflation fears lingering around and US consumer confidence on a 7 month continued low, we also have an economic threat in China and evergrande, and the us debt ceiling.
it is a lot for investors to digest.
people are suggesting there is a looming commodity super cycle.
