I never thought I'd see these prices again. Thought I'd missed the boat when I didn't buy at covid lows in March 2020, and then hard to watch it zip to $60+. Missed opportunity then but glad I didn't capitulate and follow the market into buying at highs.
I was determined to not make the same error as above, so started accumulating recently at high $30's. Have averaged down a couple of times in the past week including today, and feel comfortable doing so given the almost 50% drop from its recent highs (providing me with some margin of safety). Will look to continue this buying if the price falls further. It's just not helpful that markets are a bit volatile at the moment (mostly negative).
Happy with the way Hamish and his team are working to improve shareholder returns over the long run, with his long term thinking and investment plays. Happy to see insiders buying both MFG and their managed funds too. They are investing in various initiatives and products to drive this growth, but this won't happen overnight. So shareholders should hang tight and have faith, whilst also collecting the reasonably generous dividend payment.
