Hi Mickman,
i couldn’t see where you mention the point, CVN has free carry for the costs of this Buffalo well and this is considered by them to be a production well. In addition, the development of the 3D seismic has been reported as being the reason behind why they feel that the original wells missed the mark. They call it attic oil as it was above the previous wells draw down of the reservoir.
I humbly stand to be corrected on my points, or provided with further information. I like Hot Copper as a few of the contributors know the oil game.
