If ATC makes coating cheap enough it might make a difference, and open up new uses, not a big difference but the prices (if high grade precursor is required) magnifies the effect.
I think estimates of EV graphite demand is something like 600ktpa by 2025, using the 2% value mentioned by Iggy that's 12ktpa of precursor if the WHOLE lot is coated (but thats very unlikely). Anyway better than nothing I suppose
I tend to spend a bit of time looking at the precursor stuff as IMHO its one of A4N competitive advantages and helps mitigate risk around the main HPA market.
