I was expecting the FUM update to initiate another belting....the market is overreacting to everything when it comes to MFG at the moment. Seriously oversold - have bought another parcel (as well as some MGF) just before the close.
No guarantee it won’t drop lower of course but, with a long time horizon, I was happy to commit.
One factor that gives me confidence is the serious amount of skin Hamish has in MFG. At 30 June 2021 he had 22.2 million shares (worth $1.2b then ....$780m now - wow) I can’t see any records of him offloading any since June 30......so I trust that he’ll be doing everything in his powers to arrest this share price slide.
