Seriously though, I give Laz until December to deliver something huge.
Affirm going up again after another partnership deal will shake the small minds of impatience within Zip. I'm not saying they'll be wrong though in the end. However, it'll be a rash decision to sell (and perhaps even switch to Affirm) or whine over this Affirm news IMO. In all likelihood it'll be premature, considering Zip management's promise to deliver big partnership deals.
Looking forward to Alpha's 5000 posts about how it's now more important than ever Zip get an insto on board or it'll be gobbled up by big bad Affirm and Klarna and Afterpay through competition.
They've just started their big marketing campaign in the US. So there isn't really a better time than now to start announcing and moving forward with big US retail partnerships.
But anyway, I think there are going to be a lot of emotional whingebags in here tomorrow haha. The nancy boys. "oh why aren't I rich yet Larry?? Larry where is my richiness?? I want to be Richy Rich!!!!"
