Yeh the share price wouldn't increase assuming management provide no updates and news...
Given managements track record in communication with the market, which is utterly terrible and possibly in the bottom 10% of stocks on the ASX, you'd think that they would change something considering the share price has gone no where but down for over a year.
Until management change its communication style - and it drastically needs to change -- updating shareholders (presos, CEO/chairman letters, investor webinars etc) and Perennial is out, the share price won't really start reversing.
Management are doing themselves no favours by NOT communicating with the market.
The last preso was in Feb and company letter updating shareholders was in March. We don't have any clue whatsoever about the current status of the ongoing contract pipeline. That's got to change to give shareholders/ the market confidence to buy more shares.
The market is currently valuing AL3's 3D tech and current pipeline at $17M ($22M market cap - $5M cash (estimating Sept 30 balance given $2M/quarter spend), which is ultra low thanks to Perennial's selling pressure and management's lack of communication.
The cash is quickly running out and there will likely be another capital raising early next year, which will put shareholders off from buying soon.
So why hold or buy now?
You need to ask yourself a few questions: how much do you think the 3D tech is worth considering that it's won multiple industry awards/certifications and patents (...is it worth nothing or $17M or higher?)...what kind of clients is the company trying to land (are they big or small fish?)....and what's the probability of landing ONE decent contract...
We think that probability is high (i.e. Lightforce) which we have explained in another post.
Given management's lack of communication and the low valuation, one piece of good news could put a rocket under the share price.
