DP didnt go higher than 10% because it would have needed shareholder approval. Those shareholders would have told him to pull his head in & not in those nice words. He knew this and didn't even attempt it
I also disagree that its purely because retail thought it would go higher. Everyone thought it was going higher and to be fair, it should have. It didnt because of the free oppies being washed and the instos getting a very generous clip. DP not taking responsibility here, for me is warning #2.
