Those are quite extraordinary figures.

And bear in mind that the share capital is a nominal figure, i.e., derived from the capital that has been raised being recorded in the accounts in money-of-the-day terms.

When adjusted to present value terms, Issued Capital would be a lot higher than just U$1.1bn

And that doesn't even take into account the opportunity costs of having not been invested in other stocks, or even the overall market.

I suspect it is now a case that at no point of the long listed history of the company would purchasing MSB have generated a better return than merely buying an Index fund.

The destruction of the value of shareholder capital has been breath-taking.
