good oil conference

I spoke to Scott Spencer who filled in for Ted Ellyard for the presentation at the Good Oil Conference held on 1st September at Esplanade Hotel, Fremantle.
Scott as usual was very candid about the situation in Mauritania, he stated that there was nothing untoward happening that would cause a problem for the Joint Venture.
The rigs have been delayed due to the high oil price and the company which currently has them wanted to keep them as long as possible.
Drilling will start in a couple of weeks and the drilling program looks great.
The Matamata prospect in Guyane looks extremely promising with hints that a number of large oil majors are sniffing around wanting a piece of the action.
Of course, Hardman are now in the envious position of being able to dictate the terms of any farmin deal to the advantage of the company and shareholders.
Uganda is also looking like a very big prospect and the Information booth set up by the company at the conference was very informative.
I got a very good vibe from the presentation and was absolutely dumb struck when I saw that the share price had fallen 12 cents today, there is just no logic to it.
Shareholders have to get away from the thought that Hardman is just Mauritania. Hardman has an international portfolio of possible Mauritania's and Uganda, Guyane and the Timor sea are shaping up to be company makers in their own right.
I for one will be topping up as the less informed shareholders sell out at bargain prices.
I also take with a pinch of salt what brokers say about the stock. Please get hold of some of the so called analysis of Hardman from previous years. Follow their advice and you won't make the big gains which can't be predicted when a discovery like Tiof is made and I am putting money on the fact that there are more Tiof's and Chinguetti's waiting to be found over the course of the drilling program.
