Well its almost happy hour after a roller coaster ride all week. Lets hope for something a bit calmer next week. For todays event we had 48 acceptors by 9.59am.One runner (SMN) was suspended just before barrier rise .It will remain suspended until it can raise some funds for training fees. Quality was down a bit with just the 2 Outstandings and 5 honorable mentions being awarded .Modesty almost prevents me (but not quite) from announcing HNR tipped by yours truly as the best of the day .It opened .023/ highest fluctuation .033 /closed .029.sobar believes HNR is a definite stayer and will continue to run well in coming weeks. Stewards did inspect its gear pre race apparently on a tip off about batteries ,however nothing was found. The other outstanding went to STM .039/.047/.045 tipped by the appropriately named @Manikato stable.
The honorable mentions go to RTR .45/.51/.485 from @Elite_Trader ,SMI .20/.22/.20 from @bossivic ,ARU .21/.23/.21 from@mirren ,PHL .145/.17/.11 from@Cornelious (hope you were quick Cornelious ) and finally SE1 .023/.026/.024 from@Wanganella . This last one was an exceptionally well worked out tip. It gained an honorable mention even though it finished down a massive 33.33% on the day@Wanganella 's comment this morning was "SE1 is going to get hammered on that news (medical stock equivalent of a duster) .Will present opportunities. Hope you got a quid or two there Wanganella ,just shows what you can do thinking outside the square.
Any way the real GG's are warming up and its off to the Heath tomorrow for the Caulfield Guineas. sobars quaddie is leg one-numbers 3 and 4, leg two number 1 ,leg 3 numbers 3,4 and 11 ,leg 4 numbers 5,6 and 7. DYOR of course and no correspondance will be entered into etc etc. Have a good weekend.
