i have read that yellow cake as at 30 june 2021 had purchased 16m lb of uranium.

the world consume around 175m to 180m lb of uranium/yr.

there are current 443 reactors and aroumd 155 reactors in developmwnt or planned.

However, the world production of uranium is only 130m/lb. However, due to covid and mine closures, the production maybe short this year.

due to the sprout trust storing uranium, its hard to estimate what they have stored and what amount, if any needs to be purchased.

but the overall sentiment is a shortfall of uranium in the current year.

i assume the drop in spot price is like waves, in the form of demands. This month, the wave/demand may be low, resulting in lower spot price.
Next month may higher demand, therefore higher price again.

Not very clear in the volumn stored and what will be in demand.
