Over the long term, we will see the share price more closely follow the company's growth profile and intrinsic value. Over the short-term, the share price is more sensitive to macro factors like US debt ceiling, China contagion fears, etc. Of course, the other short to medium term catalyst is a takeover offer (which has a very decent chance of occuring).
