Hi Spid,
Yes, Iggy casually dropping the 'we have two NDA with two German Automakers' in that presentation was important news that really should have an ASX announcement IMO. The SP has been on the rise since late January with the exception of the pre 30th June loss sell-off period.
A steady flow of announcements re coating and green bonds has seen the SP gradually follow.
The fact that there haven't been any major announcements for three months makes me think they are building to break a major announcement or two.
Green bonds:
The last announcement was on 28/7 said 'The bond issue process
will shortly move from the preparation phase to marketing and finally the initiation phase.
So I would think the initiation phase must now be imminent.
Coating tech results:
I don't think we will get actual numbers from their testing. I expect that would be too market-sensitive.
I see success measured by a deeper collaboration agreement with SGL and or Ferroglobe to expand testing.
Perhaps an announcement for the funding of a pilot coating plant to supply coated anode test material to EV cell manufacturers that supply the two NDA German EV makers.
Additional Government funding grants
A partnership to fund the coating plant.
Coating plant PFS:
Has to be nearly complete by now you would think. Probably waiting for the test results and related discussions.
I believe Altech is looking at coating a spherical graphite and silicon mixture (not purely graphite) as a finished product for shipment direct to the cell manufacturers.
