Bruh my question was to get you to say "open pit mine". Does that sound familiar to you? And then, perhaps, maybe, you know, they have to grind it down to a workable size, and then you have to purify the silicon by heating it, releasing carbon monoxide, which has to be managed unless it produces C02 and ozone.
See my point? What I was asking is, what do you know about silicon being less of a carbon footprint than graphite? Tell me to go google more.
