I've no doubts it would've been tried. But put yourself in PvdM and co's shoes.............If you lifes work was on the cusp of being realised and literally changing the world wouldn't you want to be there when it's born? I know I would. No amount of money would make me give that up.
$2? Some would take it sure, but only the fools. It's clear to me that the majority of holders see BRN being worth more than peanuts which is what $2 would be imo
