All these dates are totally confusing. Why if you buy shares after 24th of sep you are not entitled to participate in rights issue, but if you convert your options on or before 30th of sep (after the ex rights date) you are entitled. Doesn't make sence to me at least. Anyone's got any ideas? And what happens if I sell my shares before 30th of sep but the settlement happens after 30th of sep. Am I still entitled?
