I'm hoping that one of the 4DS or IMEC boffins found a way to get the arrays running as functional memory on the last platform lot and that they have been able to get some metrics out of it as a result. That would be a nice surprise. It's not like they would have taken the wafers and chucked them in the bin - there would be people trying to learn as much as they can from them.

My assessment is the last technical update was a bit of a placeholder to live up to promises made about time lines and this is the one that will have the IMEC logo on it.
