In saying what you have said today most of which I agree with but as I have said I could and can see AKIDA everywhere and so I am more tolerant of the hype than might be the case.
However where Renesas is concerned BRN early 2020 was giving select potential customers free access to the IP as well as the development environment. The fact that the former CEO said Renesas moved more quickly than expected said to me they had already tested the IP for free and were happy to run with Brainchip.
While companies throw money around they do not donate money when they have the object already free of charge.
