Full disclosure, I hold wbt - this seems to matter to the peeps on this thread. Have always held 4ds, usually sell after wafer results and buy in just after wafers have been sent for fab. Seems a low risk way for me. Have every intention of buying in again, last post said clearly was hoping for 8c but that was probably too optimistic.

This is a technical update and it's price sensitive. My guesses are :

- Some parameter has been quantified better. For example if endurance is high enough that it is for all intents and purposes a memory that does not have limited write cycles like flash, this would be perfect for scm and would be price sensitive. Especially if they've got the non platform lot doing what the final kit has to do.

- the last platform lots failed. If they have identified why, and believe they've now finalized the design for the next platform lot and expect this to be a working megabit array with selector on the next platform lot. I thought it was unusual they did not disclose what the issues were with the platform lot wafers. Also thought that if 4ds knew why the platform lot wafers did not work they'd be obliged to discose

- 4ds have enough cash for 4 quarters so if they are confident about a successful platform lot with the next run, hoping they will not cap raise and shouldn't have to.
