I think the thing we should be concerned with here is that the RBS camp knew very well that their proposal would not address the near term debt maturity dates?? so why propose a plan designed to fail,
One possibility....create uncertainty, BBI ords price falls, they buy buy buy, more leverage for them as substantial holders, then new proposal put forward after they have more voting power....am I missing something?
