I agree with you Wang... bit you have to remember the technology has only been available at this standard for around 10 years and the much of the new tech Is still in development. therefore the Government has to set the pace and for the last 8 years theirs been very difficult regulation without a plan.....

so what do you expect from such crap governance of the change to cheaper, integrated , sustainable and stable, above all 'stable', energy production..... the old coal fired generators have been failing in recent years - gas peaking plants cost a huge $$$s/kw..... no bloomin' wonder our electricity prices are so high.

but the correction is underway by the States as usual under M.... battery storage is developing and soon the Gov will have to start assisting with smaller, more versatile and stable pumped hydro projects.
