I realised I invested in MEO back in the day for Heron, was left with a sour taste. Hopefully this will be a redemption.

Presumably that unexpected oil is contained in that amistad fault level in the upper sheet it could have a good closure well seems to be from my layman's eyes but of course being shallow it would not be under as much pressure for flow rate as the deeper structures. I don't really see the U1 trap represented there.

In terms of whether insto's would invest in Cuba, maybe or maybe not but they've farmed out 70% of the cost of bringing on production wells to Angola's national oil company and they have deep pockets. Also the options will raise $20m without going for debt funding or a capital raising.

So there is already potentially a $70m production and further exploration budget on an undiluted basis from all parties.
