i get that market price signals can get scrambled in the enigma that is India. But ultimately high quality price competitive Australian iron ore will push the crap/high cost stuff out.
so to me its all about the demand side not the geopolitics.
Infrastructure renewal and growth in china india and the rest of asia is strong tailwind.
yes maybe the $200 + highs are cyclical and possibly generational, but hard to see $50 either .
the current 12 month average is probably still the best predictor of the next 12 months average.
